life has calmed down a bit, and because this is my last full week of summer i've been trying to get some projects finished that have been on my list of things to do before my life becomes all about first grade. last year i received my grandparents amazing mid-century dining room table, and it came with four chairs in dire need of recovering. don't get me wrong, the orange velvet definitely reminds me of meals at grandma and grandpa's house, but i just don't think it goes well in a brooklyn apartment.
i used some echino japanese linen i got from brooklyn general and put a layer bamboo batting under for a little extra padding.
love the fabric!

Love the way the chairs look! I was totally inspired to go ahead and buy some fabric to cover mine after seeing how these came out. It's so fun to see a finished product.

They look Great as does your other chair!, Hope your first day back to school went well, I'm missing having you pop in the clinic with your brilliant ideas and tidbits of inspiration, among the many other gifts you shared. Keep in touch and let me know how you and Ted are doing in the big city!!

I love the whole new look of the chair. You were able to choose a great fabric for that.

I love the new product of this chair but I have this in mind to change it to a shade of blue because it is my favorite color.

I cannot recognize the object. Is it a kiwi bird? It looks like a penguin too.
