plaid

this weekend went by way too fast, and i hardly got anything finished. i did relax and have a great time at the prom, but now it's sunday and my projects are still staring at me from my ironing board and work table. don't you hate that feeling? 

i did actually use the sewing machine tonight (for the first time in about a month) to try out a vintage pattern i got at goodwill for a bermuda bag.  i got as far as the lining, but i'm not satisfied with it enough to go and staple gun it to my wooden handles, so i'm going to keep trying. i also think i found another project that will put my vintage plaid shirt collecting to good use.

have a great week! i know for me it's going to be a busy one.

Excitement!
I now want to make a new cover for my bermuda Bag. I am so sad to not be sewing. I did some pillowcase dresses for the store (used a few you sent)and that's it!
I haven't had any time to go up there...so sad!
